Best of the Emmy Awards: Winners - Best Voiceover Performance

Winner - Dan Castellaneta “The Simpsons”

Runners Up - Pamela Segall "King of the Hill", Seth MacFarlane "Family Guy", Rest of The Simpsons cast

Commentary - All of the voices on The Simpsons can now be considered iconic, especially as they are now on their 24th season. And Pamela Segall and Seth MacFarlane add so much humor to two of the other greatest animated tv programs of all time King of the Hill and Family Guy. But no television character has become more iconic than Homer Simpson. And for a whopping 525 episodes, the humor, charisma, and voice talents of Dan Castellaneta have created the character we love, love to hate, admire, shake our heads at, and more importantly keep watching. Can't wait for Season 25, and more more Dan/Homer antics.

  1. Dan is a freakin' legend! As a long-time fan of the show, I feel that his characteristics of Homer is just perfect and hilarious and iconic. Screw the animation bias, he's one of the best actors in any comedy series ever.
