Could Win - Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence "Silver Linings Playbook"
Should Win - Leonardo Dicaprio and Samuel L. Jackson "Django Unchained"
Commentary - This one is a bit of a toss up. The names of Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence certaintly are vote getters, but the film is definitely not as popular as other nominees. I think that Ted, which cleaned up in nominations, and is clearly more of a fan favorite (these films tend to do better here), will get this one instead.
Best Musical Moment
Will Win/Should Win - Anne Hathaway "Les Miserables - I Dreamed a Dream"
Could Win - Magic Mike - It's Raining Men; Pitch Perfect - No Diggity
Commentary - This one is close, and most people will probably go with Magic Mike, the safer and likelier choice. But I am holding out for the real musical moment of the year, the moment that won Anne Hathaway an Oscar for I Dreamed a Dream. It is probably not a smart bet, but I am taking it anyway.
