HFPA Moves "The Help" to Drama - Updated Comedy/Musical Golden Globe Predictions

So The Help submitted itself as a comedy, and I included it in my initial Comedy predictions, but I had this inkling that the HFPA would move it to Drama, which it promptly did. So now here my "Help"-less Comedy/Musical predictions. Later this weekend/week I will do the Drama/General predictions, which I'm sure will include The Help across the board.

  1. The Golden Globes has the tendency to be a little unpredictable (like last year when Burlesque and The Tourist made Best Picture) so I am expecting The Globes to have more unconventional nominations.

  2. That's what makes the Globes so unpredictable. These are far from my final predictions, but even if I try to guess the curveballs, I am still bound to miss some. For example, I have this thought that Footloose will end up getting a nod, because they love musicals, even though the films I predict are much better. We'll have to wait and see.
