Could Win - Kristine Nielson "Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike"
Commentary - A close race that is coming down between two first time nominees. Kristine Nielson surprisingly beat out her popular co-star Sigourney Weaver for a nomination, and therefore there must be something really special about her performance. However, Cicely Tyson is the main character and from reviews, it appears she carries this revival on the power for her performance. This role won Geraldine Page an Oscar, Tyson is a living legend who has never won a Tony Award, and I think she will get her due come next Sunday.
