2014 Tony Award Predictions: Best Actor in a Play

Will Win - Bryan Cranston "All the Way"

Could Win - Mark Rylance "Richard III"

Commentary - I have a feeling that and EGOT winner is not far from our midst in the form of Bryan Cranston. He has conquered television with both a hit comedy (Malcolm in the Middle) and a drama (Breaking Bad). And I'm sure if he was ever given the right vehicle on film, he could easily capture an Oscar too. But first he is most likely going to win his first Tony for his turn as LBJ in the odds-on favorite for Best Play, All the Way. I would honestly be shocked if he lost, but Mark Rylance could pull a Tracey Letts, and be the stage favorite that overcomes the screen legend (aka Tom Hanks last year).
