Commentary - In a relatively week year, Beef should easily take this award, and will probably have a mini-sweep across many of these categories. It is easily the best of the bunch, did really well at the Creative Arts Emmys, and its wins at the Globes and most likely Critics Choice Awards will be precursors to its Emmy success.

Will Win - Steven Yeun "Beef"
Could Win - Evan Peters "Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story"
Should Win - Steven Yeun "Beef"
Commentary - Steven Yeun was fantastic in Beef and I think he gets swept up in the love for the series. But do not underestimate the power of recent Emmy winner Evan Peters playing Jeffrey Dahmer. If voters are spreading the love, then he could benefit.
Best Actress in a Limited Series or TV Movie
Will Win - Ali Wong "Beef"
Could Win - Jessica Chastain "George and Tammy"
Should Win - Ali Wong "Beef"
Commentary - Again, Wong should win this for Beef as it sweeps up a lot of these limited series awards this year, and she deserves the recognition. But recent Oscar winner Jessica Chastain, who won at SAG last year, could surprise. Emmy voters love Oscar winners.
Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie
Will Win - Paul Walter Hauser "Black Bird"
Could Win - Young Mazino "Beef" or Murray Bartlett "Welcome to Chippendales"
Should Win - Paul Walter Hauser "Black Bird"
Commentary - I know its hard to remember, but the momentum leading up to Emmy voting for this category was for Paul Walter Hauser. He is brilliant in Black Bird, and seemed to have the momentum on his side. However, Beef is on a sweep, so don't be surprised if Young Mazino wins. Also watch out for recent winner Murray Bartlett. He is a double nominee this year, and Welcome to Chippendales did way better than expected with voters.

Will Win - Niecy Nash-Betts "Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story"
Could Win - Claire Danes "Fleishman is in Trouble" or Maria Bello "Beef"
Should Win - Niecy Nash-Betts "Dahmer - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story"
Commentary - Again, it is hard to remember how the Emmy season was going leading up to the strikes, but Niecy Nash-Betts was on a bit of a sweep for her heart-breaking role in Dahmer. She is a veteran who is overdue for Emmy recognition, and had the momentum when Emmy voting closed. But Claire Danes is strong here, and an Emmy favorite, and Maria Bello could ride the Beef wave. So watch for this race to go to the finish line.
