Should Win - Nathan Lane "Only Murders in the Building"

Commentary - Bill Hader is an Emmy favorite and SNL guys do well here, so watch out for Jerrod Carmichael. But I think that Nathan Lane is going to finally win an Emmy on his seventh try. He had a great turn in Only Murders in the Building, and is a living legend without proper recognition. These races are always a crapshoot, but we know that big names get vote checks. Lane is a big name.

Will Win - Jane Lynch "Only Murders in the Building"

Could Win - Harriet Walter "Ted Lasso"

Should Win - Harriet Sansom Harris "Hacks"

Commentary - I really loved Hacks this season, and I thought that Harriet Sansom Harris' performance in her episode was subtle, well-done, funny, and provided a perfect mirror for Jean Smart's Deborah. But I think that the Hacks folks are going to cancel each other out, and make this race between Harriet Walter and Jane Lynch. Lynch has won this category before, is beloved by these voters, and has the showier role. I think she wins another Emmy for her efforts.
