The 68th Annual Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards

Well Well Well. Another mess we have. The last time the three big guilds split was in 2013, with Gravity, 12 Years a Slave, and American Hustle, and we had no idea what was going to win until the envelope was opened. I think this year's race is even tighter, and Inarritu winning here has put The Revenant back in the race. Spotlight, The Big Short, The Revenant, and yes even Mad Max, are all on an interesting trajectory here. I think BAFTA will go for The Revenant, which puts it ahead, but just by a hair. Updated predictions coming soon...

  1. Why does everyone continue to consider 2013 as a split year when there was that PGA tie?
