Writers Guild of America (WGA) Predictions

With big names like 12 Years a Slave, Fruitvale Station, Philomena, Rush, and Short Term 12, as well as all the foreign entries ineligible, the WGA is once again a bit precarious to predict, and a bit precarious in terms of its Oscar impact that being said, they should not be ignored. Here are my predictions for this year's nominees:

Best Adapted Screenplay
Tracey Letts "August: Osage County"
Richard Linklater, Julie Delpy, and Ethan Hawke "Before Midnight"
Billy Ray "Captain Phillips"
Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber "The Spectacular Now"
Terence Winter "The Wolf of Wall Street"

Best Original Screenplay
David O. Russell and Eric Singer "American Hustle"
Woody Allen "Blue Jasmine"
Spike Jonze "Her"
Joel and Ethan Coen "Inside Llewyn Davis"
Bob Nelson "Nebraska"
