Commentary - An interesting mix of contenders. I am going with Oscar winner and Emmy winners like Gary Oldman, Walton Goggins, and Donald Glover in projects that may or may not be big contenders. Shogun looks to take two slots with Jarvis and Sanada, and the perennial favorite The Crown should bring Dominic West into the fold. Watch out for Farrell, Fielder (if voters watched The Curse, he is in), Hiddleston, Spector, and Olyphant.

Commentary - So weirdly, both Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon have been nominated in this category for The Morning Show, but neither in the same year. Witherspoon was snubbed the first time, and then Aniston was snubbed the second. Is this the year they both make it in? I think so. Anna Sawai is a real contender this year, Imelda Staunton hopes to continue The Crown's second season streak, and I don't think voters will ignore recent Oscar winner Emma Stone. I am throwing in Carrie Coon for The Gilded Age, which looks like it is going to have a banner year after being ignored before, but Maya Erskine is great and Carrie Preston has won an Emmy for her role as Elsbeth before, so watch out.
