5th Annual BTJA Critics Choice Television Award Nominations

So basically, the anti-Emmys, and a much better list than the one that will probably come in July. Louie, House of Cards and Game of Thrones are the biggest snubs (Thrones did get in for Drama Series but that was it), and while Modern Family and Downton Abbey have lost favor with the critics, zero nods for both is a bit surprising. I would have loved to have seen more love for The Mindy Project, black-ish, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Please Like Me, Getting On, The Comeback, You're The Worst (a great Best Comedy Series pick by the way), and the final season of Parks and Recreation. But I love nods for Empire, Mom, The Good Wife, and lots of great individual nomiantions. I will say there is a common theme here of spreading the love around as, across the board, a bunch of shows got at least one nomination.
