American Film Institution's (AFI) Top Ten Films of 2012

The top ten films from the American Film Institution are listed below. I will say, normally there is a name of the list I simply don't agree with (J. Edgar for example), but this was such a great year for American film that I can honestly say the list looks great (now I have yet to see some of them, and some are in need of me posting my reviews, which I got off on this summer, but overall a nice list). I am really happy with the inclusion of The Dark Knight Rises. I simply forgot to post a review of the film in the chaos that was my life this summer, and so now that I have gotten in on DVD, I will look at it again and actually post a review this time. Needless to say, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Can't wait for ZDT and Les Miserables. Tomorrow, the BFCA announces, followed by  SAG on Wed., and HFPA on Thursday.

Argo
Beasts of the Southern Wild
The Dark Knigth Rises
Django Unchained
Les Miserables
Life of Pi
Lincoln
Moonrise Kingdom
Silver Linings Playbook
Zero Dark Thirty
