Commentary - There are so many previous contenders fighting for a few slots, and it is going to be a wild finish. I feel confident that Ozark, Succession, Better Call Saul and The Crown are in, and I am feeling more confident about The Morning Show. The Handmaid's Tale haul last year, despite not being eligible for this category shows continued support for the show, despite a dip in quality. The last slot is interesting. I am going with Westworld. I know it had a mixed bag this season, but it will knock the technical awards out of the park, and could be this year's Game of Thrones: the once beloved show that still is masterfully made and well-acted. But This is Us could take that slot with another emotional powerhouse season. Big Little Lies, despite Season 2 not being great, has the star power. Killing Eve and Pose got in last year. Killing Eve's Season 3 has not been great, but Season 2 of Pose was great and timely. Homeland and Stranger Things had strong seasons, The Mandalorian has Disney behind it, and shows like Mr. Robot, The Good Fight, Hunters, and Euphoria should not be discounted.
