Commentary - Not exactly the best lineup in recent years, but they should have enough to get to five nods. Soul is a lock, and will probably easily win. I also think that Pixar's Onward will join its Pixar counterpart, despite it being a lesser effort. Wolfwalkers is the critical favorite this year, and often those films do well with the members of this branch. Earwig and the Witch looks to be Studio's Ghibli's entry this year, and they are perennial favorites. Finally, I think after Klaus did so well, Netflix will get Over the Moon in a slot. But Demonslayer has done well overseas, Shaun the Sheep once one this category, Trolls was a huge hit on VOD, The Croods was too, finally, indie/foreign films like The Willoughbys, On-Gaku, A Whisker Away, Lupin II, Bombay Rose, and Ride Your Wave could be one of those surprise nominees which often pop up in this category.
Never bet against Pixar.
