Commentary - Cheers is one of my favorite television series of all time for obvious reasons. But it was never better than in the two parter Showdown, one of the greatest episodes in sitcom history. A great series of events that are emotional, funny, thrilling, and end with the ultimate expression between one of the greatest pairings in television history: Sam and Diane. A pitch-perfect comedic episode that shows the greatness of the cast and crew of Cheers.
