2nd Annual Television Critics Choice Nominees

As with most set of nomination lists, there are some great nods, and some glaring exclusions. Some nominations that I love: Community, Don Cheadle, Max Greenfield, the exclusion Boardwalk Empire, John Noble, Ru Paul, and Chopped. Some that were surprising/shocking: Maggie Siff, Michelle Dockery, Charlie Hunnam, Eden Sher, The Community/Happing Endings love across the board, Ashley Rickards, Garret Dillahunt. I personally loved the Best Drama Series category, but hate the exclusion of Veep (beyond JLD), Cougar Town (Especially Busy Phillips and Courtney Cox), Archie Panjabi, Sofia Vergara, Parenthood, Sandra Oh, and I'm sure there are others, that I can't think of off the top of my head. Overall, not a bad list, and shows a significant difference between the Television Academy and the BFCA, which is nice considering that the Movie Critics work so damn hard to match Oscar cotenders, its nice to see them think outside the box, knowing many of these individuals will not hear their name called Emmy nomination morning.
