- REACTION - While the predictable (Mad Men, Lost, and Dexter) easily got in, there were a few suprises. First is House, while it's been nominated before, it got a lot of crap for its Kal Penn storyline, and a lot of other bad buzz, but still made the cut. Big Love and Breaking Bad are the real shockers here though. Great shows, but small ones that I thought could get acting nods, but not overall series nod; Congrats though!

COMEDY SERIES: Entourage, Family Guy, How I Met Your Mother, Flight of the Conchords, The Office, 30 Rock, Weeds
- REACTION - The Emmys finally went out on a limb and nominated their first animated series since The Flintstones in 1961, with the inclusion of Family Guy, and this fan could'nt be happier! Also nice to see the inclusion of the exiting Flight of the Conchords, the juicy Weeds, and the constantly snubbed How I Met Your Mother. Then of course the usual suspects 30 Rock, The Office, and the ever worsening Entourage. I feel they missed the mark by not honoring The Big Bang Theory, and by continuing to honor Entourage, despite its decline in quality.
