Sterling K. Brown "Brooklyn Nine-Nine"
Bobby Cannavale "Will & Grace"
Bryan Cranston "Curb Your Enthusiasm"
Donald Glover "Saturday Night Live"
Bill Hader "Saturday Night Live"
Lin-Manuel Miranda "Curb Your Enthusiasm"
Other Contenders - Leslie Jordan "Will & Grace, Bob Newhart "The Big Bang Theory", Katt Williams "Atlanta", Wallace Shawn "The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel", Jon Hamm "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt", Will Ferrell "Saturday Night Live", Alec Baldwin "Will & Grace", Johnny Galecki "Roseanne", John Mulaney "Saturday Night Live", Nick Offerman "Will & Grace", Nathan Lane "Modern Family", Ben Platt "Will & Grace", Mark Hamill "The Big Bang Theory", Kevin Hart "Saturday Night Live", Chadwick Boseman "Saturday Night Live"
Commentary - I think five slots seem safe. Donald Glover and Bill Hader are definitely in for SNL, and will battle it out for the win. Bryan Cranston and Lin-Manuel Miranda also seem like safe bets for Curb Your Enthusiasm. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is not ever been really an Emmy favorite, but Sterling K. Brown is, and his episode on the show is just plain awesome. In the final slot, I want to give one to one of the Will & Grace guys. While Ben Platt, Alec Baldwin, and Nick Offerman could easily make the cut, I think this is between previous winners Bobby Cannavale and Leslie Jordan. Of the two, Cannavale is the bigger name, so I am betting on him in a close finish. Katt Williams got deep on Atlanta, Jon Hamm is always a threat, and the SNL guys, Will Ferrell, Kevin Hart and Chadwick Boseman are real possibilities.
