The Academy's Makeup and Hairstyling Branch has narrowed down this year's choices to seven, which will eventually become three. Holy Motors and Cloud Atlas are the two big exclusions, but it will still be hard to narrow it down to three.

My guess is that Lincoln and The Hobbit are the top two at the moment, but trying to choose among Les Miserables, Hitchcock, Looper, Snow White, and Men in Black 3 will be hard. I am sort of leaning toward Men In Black. The first won this category, and Rick Baker is a legend in the industry. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
