Some big contenders like The Lobster, Lion, Florence Foster Jenkins, Zootopia, and others were not eligible, but the biggest miss here is probably Hacksaw Ridge, which had the ineligible films, and the whole Moonlight and Loving in Original Screenplay (at the Oscars they will be Adapted), and yet managed to beaten by Deadpool.
