Well I will say, I am pretty impressed with this years nominees. Films like Django, SLP, TDKR, and The Avengers all did well. Few nominations for Twilight was great, and shock, Day-Lewis, Chastain, Lawrence, Ezra Miller, Affleck, and even little Quvenzhane Wallis for a small, independent film managed to be nominated. For a change, this is a nice list, and despite a few WTF nods, it represents popular movies this year, as well as good movies. Although some of their categories (particularly the new Shritless category), shows that MTV still has a trashy side to them.

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with you, although I prefer all the nominations for Ted compared to more and more nominations on the undeserving Twilight series
