RIP Doris Roberts
I had no idea that Doris Roberts was 90. She seemed to have an energy that was unstoppable, and she definitely didn't act her age. Roberts is known by most folks as Marie Barone, the infamous matriarch of Everybody Loves Raymond, a role that won her 4 Emmy Awards. But she also won an Emmy for St. Elsewhere, and had tons of great roles over the course of her 65 year career including: The Defenders, Look Homeward Angel, The Heartbreak Kid, Mary Hartman Mary Hartman, Soap, Barney Miller, The Love Boat, Remington Steele, Christmas Vacation, The Boys, and countless other television series and movies. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends tonight. Rest in Peace.
