4. Tony Shaloub "Monk"
5. Jim Parsons "The Big Bang Theory"
6. Matthew Morrison "Glee"

Alternates: Thomas Jane "Hung", Joel McHale "Community", David Duchovny "Californication, Charlie Sheen "Two and a Half Men"

Commentary: I think that these six are set in stone. Jane could be the only spoiler if Glee doesn't get the love we all think it is going to.

Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series
1. Edie Falco "Nurse Jackie"
2. Tina Fey "30 Rock"
3. Toni Collette "The United States of Tara"
4. Lea Michele "Glee"
5. Courtney Cox-Arquette "Cougar Town"
6. Mary-Louise Parker "Weeds"

Alternates: Amy Poehler "Parks & Recreation", Julia Louis-Dreyfuss "The New Adventures of Old Christine, Tracy Ullman "State of the Union", Patricia Heaton "The Middle"

Commentary: This one is tough to prediction with at least 8 or 9 real possibilities and only six spots. I think Fey, Falco, and Collette are in. I also think the young talent of Lea Michele, plus the power of Glee is enough for a nod. The last two spots are tricky. I'm probably stupid for not picking Dreyfuss, but I think that Parker and Cox are better choices, but my guess is that Cox is replaced. I mean if they didn't give her a nod for Friends, why would they honor Cougar Town?

2. Neil Patrick Harris "How I Met Your Mother"
3. Eric Stonestreet "Modern Family"
4. Tracy Morgan "30 Rock"
5. Rainn Wilson "The Office"
6. Jon Cryer "Two and a Half Men"

Alternates: Ed O'Neill "Modern Family", Jeremy Piven "Entourage", Kevin Dillon "Entourage"

Commentary: I think that at least two of the Modern Family guys get it, the most likely being Ty Burrell and Eric Stonestreet. I also think that Neil Patrick Harris gets in (and should finally win) for How I Met Your Mother. I think that Cryer gets in...again....which is so sad. Finally I went with Wilson and Morgan, two previous nominees, who are apparently well-liked within the academy.

Commentary: A few old favorites, Williams, Wiig, Krakowski, all return, and add in Jane Lynch who is probably the frontrunner. The question is do both Modern Family girls get in or do Hines, Perkins, Fischer, or Adams take one of the spots? I'm going with both at this point.
