Commentary: I think we are starting to see the shift in the Emmys, as there is now a nice mix of longtime shows and newcomers in this year's race. First you have the old faves like Larry David, Alec Baldwin, Steve Carell, Charlie Sheen, and Tony Shaloub who could all see their numbers called again, especially Carrell as his time on The Office may be coming to an end, or Tony Shaloub as Monk is finally going off the air. David Duchovny and Jim Parsons deserve some praise, especially Parsons who was robbed of an Emmy last year. Then there are three newcomers, two particular ones Thomas Jane and Matthew Morrison who could definitley get nominations, and if they like Community, Joel McHale could see his first nod in this category.
